Do I have to be a H.O.G. member to attend the rally? |
| A. |
Yes, you need to be a national H.O.G. member, or a guest of a national H.O.G. member. Associate H.O.G. members should register as members. You can become a national H.O.G. member at the rally at on site registration. |

Do I have to be a member of a local H.O.G chapter to attend the rally? |
| A. |
No, but we encourage you to join your local chapter and take full advantage of local H.O.G. chapter activities. |

Do I have to pre-register? |

No, but only those who have pre-registered are guaranteed a 2008 South Dakota Big Dam H.O.G. Rally t-shirt and rally pin. |

Will Big Dam H.O.G. Rally t-shirts and pins be available for sale? |

Big Dam H.O.G. Rally commemorative t-shirts and pins are available as part of the pre-registration package. We can not guarantee that either t-shirts or pins will be available at on site registration. |

Yes! We encourage you to register online. Our online registration is secure. |

In the event of a problem with my motorcycle, will I be able to get assistance? |

Yes, Petersen Motors Harley-Davidson, located in Pierre, is ready to assist rally attendees and will have trailer service available in the immediate Pierre area. |

Why should I register early if pre-registration and on site registration is the same price? |
| A. |
With pre-registration you are guaranteed to receive an official Big Dam H.O.G. Rally t-shirt and rally pin. If you register on site, you will still get the admission packet, and will be able to participate in all Big Dam H.O.G. Rally activities, but you are not guaranteed either a rally t-shirt or pin. These items will be available for sale on site in limited quantities. |

Do I need to bring my Big Dam H.O.G. Rally confirmation card to the rally? |

Yes, it will make picking up your rally packet much easier. If you forget or lose your Big Dam H.O.G. Rally confirmation card, we will be able to assist you at registration when you present your national H.O.G. membership card. |

Bring your Big Dam H.O.G. Rally confirmation card and your current national H.O.G. membership card. |

Will guests who are not members receive a Big Dam H.O.G. Rally rally t-shirt? |

Sorry. No, only national H.O.G. members can receive a Big Dam H.O.G. Rally shirt. Only pre-registered national H.O.G. members are guaranteed a rally shirt. |

Is the registration fee of $40 for both days? Do I get a reduced price for attending only 1 day? |

$40 is the total price of registration for a H.O.G. member no matter when you register. $30 is the price of registration for a H.O.G. member’s guest no matter when you register. |

Will I have a good time? |

Dam Right! We are putting together two fun-filled days of riding over South Dakota’s Big Dams, and around the four dam reservoirs on the Missouri River. Bring a few of your closest friends, and be prepared to make a few new dam friends while you enjoy South Dakota’s dam scenery and hospitality. |

Yes. Find a rally committee member and we will get you taken care of. |

I pre-registered, but I will be unable to attend, can my friend pick up my packet? |

Yes. Please send your confirmation card with your friend to make this process easier. |

I pre-registered, I will be unable to attend, and I have no friends. Can I still get my packet? |

Yes. Give us a call or email. We can arrange to have your packet mailed to you, at your cost. |

What about lodging? |
| A. |
We have reserved a block of rooms at the host hotel. If you choose to stay at a campground or a different hotel, please remember that the the Pierre area is a popular tourist area. In order to secure lodging, we recommend reserving early. |

What can I expect for weather? |
| A. |
You must not be from around here. Typical weather for this area during the first week of June will be lows in the 50s and highs in the 80s. We can virtually guarantee that the temperatures will be between the upper 40s and upper 90s. If it is not sunny, it will be raining, or not. The wind may blow . . . it may not. Dress in layers over a sleeveless t-shirt, bring your rain gear, and be prepared to enjoy beautiful riding. And remember: Rain Delays Are For Baseball. |
